How it works
Plug into the 12V socket, screw the hose onto the valve stem, and inflate toward the pressure on your door sticker. Many units auto-stop; still verify with a trusted digital gauge afterward.
How we use it in the Lab / Digest
Our compressor test timed fills from low PSI and checked for thermal cutouts across four tires. A usable $15 unit finishes a sedan tire in a few minutes and belongs in a winter kit next to the scraper and jumper pack.

Pair with a gauge
Built-in dials can be optimistic. A separate digital gauge is the source of truth. Correct pressure is the fuel-saving habit; the compressor is how you act on the number.
Own it before you need it — not after a flat warning light.
